Our Children

The House of Hope ministers to special needs children through our day school and boarding house.

         Because of the trauma and violence that has ravaged the West Bank and Gaza, there is an increasing number of adults and children with special needs.  The percentage of the population affected is one of the highest in the world.  The House of Hope does what it can to provide all the services and the rehabilitations for those special needs people in an efficient, effective and loving way.

        We at the House of Hope also try to help family members of our students to grasp the special needs and obstacles of their loved ones, since most do not understand their struggles.  Insufficient knowledge of the real situation in a disabled student's family leaves the student with heartache and fear in his/her personal life. 

      Our responsibility to each student is more than physical help.  The spiritual and emotional lives of our students are sometimes even more in need of support.  Christ's love and acceptance is an important part of the healing process and is necessary for preparing students to live in the world.
