Doorkeeper/Maintenance Worker

Murad has worked at the House of Hope for 16 years, blessing us with his always-willing work ethic. 

After coming from a northern village in Samaria, Murad studied in a local school for the blind.  Soon he began to learn a trade in the House of Hope workshop, but decided he really liked to clean and deliver items, to be a doorman/key-keeper for the home.  Today, Murad lives in the House of Hope and is willing to do whatever is needed to keep our ministry running smoothly.  He is a great help to our staff and makes many people smile.

Murad's family of four brothers and three sisters is Muslim.  He says he prefers the home to his own house, because there are no activities for the blind at home.  He loves to play with our children and to spend time with the believers here.  It is his second home, he says.

Please pray for Murad's health.  He had a bad fall this month and dislocated his shoulder.  He has still served with us throughout the pain, but we pray for his full recovery.
