Social Worker and School Coordinator

Lorice is a gem.  She has given herself and her life to serving the Lord and in turn, He has given some of Lorice's talents and time to us.  For 18 years, Lorice has been devoted to running our school and forming relationships in the House of Hope. 

A grandmother of two and mother of three, Lorice lives with her husband in Beit Sahour, her hometown.  She doesn’t just care for people here—Lorice's parents live with her and she makes sure they are provided for.  Before she came to the House of Hope, Lorice was a full-time mother, so she knows all about how to raise children and love them as Christ does. 

Part of Lorice's job is to manage all the teachers and details of our school section and to communicate with the parents of our students.  Each child is unique and has different needs, but Lorice is aware of each special family situation and helps work things out.  We are thankful for the gift God has given Lorice to organize and be effective while encouraging and shining His light to those around her.
