      Welcome to the HoH

The House of Hope began its ministry in 1963 with the calling by God of Aunty May - a blind Christian from the local area. For years she had worked with organisations caring for some of the most vulnerable young people and then God led her to step out in faith and begin a new ministry relying on God to meet her needs and the needs of those she cared for.

Today the House of Hope continues to be a ministry working with some of the most disadvantaged within the area of Bethlehem and further afield. Some have learning disabilities, some are blind, all need the love and compassion that comes from people who have met God. At the House of Hope we aim to help people see that they are valuable and cared for; we aim to help people learn and grow in their abilities; we aim to encourage people to develop a relationship with God, help them grow in their relationship with Him and to experience Christian fellowship and community together.

It is only through the goodness of God through His people that the work of the House of Hope continues. We rely on the prayers of those who support us as well as volunteers to work with us   Thank you for visiting our website. If you have any questions, please see the contact us page for how to get in touch.
